Message	II uses bonded leather, not full grain leather. My shifter and parking brake boots are both all cracked up and I have only had them on about 2-3 years. They sent replacements but why bother putting them back on when the new one's will do just what the old one's have done. I plan to order new replacement boots from IE. Just make sure you know what you are buying into.
