Well the only thing half-assed so far was your assumption that I would or have already purchased a MAACO paint Job. As I stated earlier in this post, the previous owner is the one who painted the car this primer color. I stated that I would have the car redone in a flat black or glossy black as soon as it was ready. You should probably wait until it is finished to criticize the looks and choice of my future paint job unless you have already traveled to the future to see it. I have access to world class paint work for cost of materials which I have previously stated in this post. Nobody ever said anything about a "Half Assed MAACO Pant Job" except you. My R1 is a show winning bike, and it is Matte Black, and has been for at least 4 years. I respect your opinion that you don't like flat black or matte paint jobs, and to that I simply say it is a good thing I did not build my car for you, but I find either your assumption of me being cheap and lazy, or your plain dis-respectfulness to talk trash about the current primer paint job on a rebuild that is in progress without fully reading and comprehending the existing posts about who painted it that way to be rather unnecessary. I am not sure why you assume I would purchase a new stage 4 IPP longblock and all new 0 miles parts for my entire engine, drive train, and suspension, and then take it for a $300 paint job at MAACO. I think you saying you don't like flat black and seeing it on a Bentley makes you giggle until you pee is sufficient. There was really no need to introduce negativity towards me.
I just wanna go fast |
