Message I've been doing alot of reading on changes to the subframe bushings, OEM, Poly, Aluminum. The general consensus is that the Aluminum, and many times the Poly on the subframe is considered fairly harsh in terms of noise and vibration. Is this mainly due to the diff? to me, the suspension should be able to handle all the vibration coming from the road, obviously the front handles it just fine. I would think that the only reason aluminum would increase the harshness is because the bushings between the diff and the subframe are not enough to isolate vibration; so a secondary set from subframe to body is used. But then these can reduce handling... I would think from a performance perspective all aluminum is best, from a handle only perspective, you could probably get away with aluminum subframe and oem diff bushings. Has anyone run with this setup? Im assuming there is more vibration/noise than stock, but is it that noticable? are there certain areas in the RPM band that become ugly?
