They didn't have much choice on the runner length because of spark plug access, so why not spin it as if they designed it with absurdly long runners on purpose? I know the document you're referring to, and I found it odd that they measured flow restriction in "units" vs specifying the actual units of measure. For me, this makes me question the credibility of the whole document as marketing spin. . The intake manifold just doesn't make sense for a forced induction applicat ion. Hell, the ports on the lower plenum match the NA cylindad perfectly, but require port matching on TT heads. If that isn't a clue I'm not sure what to tell you.
