Got referred to him by a local mechanic on Oahu - apparently Greg works as a contractor to the local Nissan dealership, specifically for working on Z's. He also apparently shuttles back and forth between Hawaii and California. The general sense I get looking at the old posts and various Google searches is that Greg is well qualified and does good work...at a price. I searched the forums and see a few posts in the 2000-2005 timeframe, nothing recent. Posted here a few weeks ago and got good feedback. My car needs a lot of work, but nothing major - PS hose, timing belt, valve cover gaskets, etc. I'm probably going to get started with the PS hose on my own, it's making a mess and getting worse. My Z is not a "daily driver", but it is my only car...so putting it up on jackstands for several weeks is not an option unless I go buy a beater to drive around the island while I work on the Z. Thoughts on DIY vs. Greg? If you're reading this, Greg...sorry, just doing my homework. :)
