About ten years ago (wow, it doesn't seem that long ago) I replaced the BOSE system with Alpine CDA-9308 receiver and Alpine SPS-460A and SPS-170A speakers. I installed the speakers in existing BOSE speaker boxes and I have never been happy with it. So, this year Santa brought me an Alpine MRP-F300 50w 4 ch amp and a Pioneer TS-SW841 sub. I figured I install the amp under the pass seat and the sub in the spare wheel well. Oh, and I have front speaker brackets to replace the BOSE box enclosures. I figured, I would make something for the rears. So, do I replace the speaker wiring (original BOSE)? Should I run amp power from the battery or fuse box? If battery, how to I get wires out to it and what do I use to tap into the battery?
