Message So the local weekly cars and coffee tends to be the same group of guys. We are all older, work on our own cars and like them less ricey and more refined. There are the standards there, miatas, subies turbobricks and evos, a couple RX7s, and even a 510 along with my Z. We are all also fiercely fanatical about our cars, and because of this, well, we all talk a lot of friendly shit about each other's cars. So when it came up that I had pulled my motor to swap my turbos, naturally the heckling followed. "I heard you have to pull the motor to change the oil" etc. While talking about my knock sensor woes and safety boost one of them pipes up; "Wait, you're only running 7psi? We might actually have a chance now!"

I smiled.
