The people who "lose" interest are the FotM'ers who buy their car to impress others and therefore need to move on to the newest fad in order to continue (in their own mind) fulfilling this need. These cars are just as cool as they were back in the 90's. No longer the performance benchmark they once were, for sure, but still just as cool.
