(which may or may not be a good deal) and still be in need of an engine. If your primary interest is a TT swap, then I'd want to at least have a running engine in front of me to verify condition. If you are willing to part out the car after you have stripped it in order to offset some of the purchase cost, then maybe this is a feasible route to take. Otherwise, you could be burned bad in a situation like this. Odds are you'd be OK, but if the engine had a catastrophic failure, then you're going to need another one.
