So I always had a curiosity for the 99 wing and I thought that the 99 skirts suited the car quite well. Only place I found the skirts and wing (that didnt cost $999) was IonicD. I got them on a black friday sale for 140 each I think. Well well.....(sucks teeth and ponders if this post even makes sense seeing as though everyone knows this already) The craftsman ship is visibly poor as soon as you get it out the box as there are rough edges and places where the resin didnt full in properly so you can push your finger through the gel coat.
I finally attempted to install the skirts today. Unless the 2+2 and 2+0 skirts are very similar in size and they sent me the 2+0 by mistake the damn things are a complete 5/8" short so you cant even slide them over the rocker panels and even if they would go on the section that covers the front fender is also to short. So there is a 1/4 gap between the front edge of the door and the skirt. The wing... Well I did care to look at it long enough before just saying to myself "I just know its fucked up so why bother". Shit part is I live in the Bahamas and had to pay additional shipping and duty charges to get these. So even if I were to send them back it cost of the item isnt even equal to the export fee. I was really excited to see the 99 skirts on my car. I could care less for the wing but the skirts I really wanted. And to think even if I did get the wrong size the quality is so poor I wonder if I'd even care to have a free set sent to me.
