Message	different. They are different philosophies on how we should tax. I think that a percentage system is more fair, you may not. My original response was to the idea that a "consumption" tax would keep the rich from hiding their money from taxation. The pundits say it wouldn't, and I agree. What will stop that is to get money out of gov't, so that tax laws are governed by the people. ...... I also wonder how one uses "pundits" and "politicians" as if they are the same. A pundit studies an idea based on its merits. Politicians .... well we know what they do.
