It might sound hack ish, but I did aircraft heat exchanger repair for several years, and if it had a small leak, we used a heavy, grey epoxy that looked a lot like Jb weld. Jb weld thins when it gets warm and will flow into cracks and holes. A heat gun/hair dryer is plenty. Be sure to clean the area thoroughly before. I did this on the a hole on one of my intercoolers. If you feel like having it welded though, that would be the ideal solution.
