| 1. Visual Inspection (No concern here, my SMOG dude doesnt care) 2. ECU codes (No concern here as a resistor can provide the right signal to keep the ECU thinking the EGR temp sensor is present and funcitoning properly. I can also keep the EGR solenoid plugged in to the ECU but disconected from the EGR valve.) 3. Emissions (My concern is here, without an EGR valve, and no precats, and high flow aftermarket cats, will my NOx be too high to pass?) A. Is there a way to bypass the mechanical function of the EGR so i can have a SMOG test done and see if i will pass without it? This was i can keep it installed in case i wont pass as its a bitch to remove and replace. B. Have any other 96ers done deleted thier EGR and still able to pass the emissions portion of SMOG? Thanks in advance and yes i searched like crazy.
