Message Well i think Nissan has about 20 book hours on this if you pull the engine. IMO that's the best way to go and from my experience trying to replace turbos with the engine in the car is is more ass pain than its worth. Now i know some people have recommended doing the 60 or 120K maintenance while everything is out. I would only say go for it if you ether don't know the age or mileage on the engine but seeing how you did a TT swap on your Z i hope you put the 60K check in the box when you had the swap done. If you have more than 10K miles before recommend replacement i would say leave it alone. Its not a hard job to do with the engine in the car. If you did not have the engine mounts replaced the last time the engine was out be ready to replace them the love to just fall apart when the see the light of day lol. But over all if your Mechanic is conferrable and competent with twin turbo Z's then yes $1200 is a reasonable price.
