Message I have been looking at this new blanket ptp released for internally wastegated t25's and t28's. I emailed them and it for sure will fit most/all turbos for our cars.

Although this seems like a very good option to prevent heatsoak, increase radiator performance, and increase turbo spool.

What happens if this blanket catches fire? Anyone have any experience with turbo blankets? It seems like it would be a pain in the ass to put on and take off because of the location of our turbos. Also both 300zx's I have owned have leaked oil slightly so I am not sure this would be a smart move.

I do like the idea and in a perfect world it seems like a good solution especially for us with bigger turbos gt28's and gt30's. And to you guys wondering I believe specialty z's gt30 kits use a gt28 hot side so these blankets would work for those as well.

Supposidly this is more effective than "swain coating" the exhaust side. Although swain coating seems safer?
