| all 255 50 16s will increase total tread width by 4.6 inches from stock. But the diameter of wheel minus diameter of tire is 1.2 inches thereby increasing ride height by 1.2 inches. Also gain about 2-3 lbs of weight at each corner. With all around 245 50 16s will increase total tread with by 2.6 inches from stock. Also using the same calculation above the ride height would increase by 0.8 inches. You also increase weight by about 1-2lbs each corner. Using the Comp-2 tread... the 255 setup is 20$ more (5$ more per tire than the 245 version). So you have increased diameter in both cases which will change the center of gravity up more and also decrease the maximum suspension travel slightly. Also for future upgrades when using some height adjustable coil overs (after coilover from stock suspension upgrade) you have to lower it the same amount you raised it with the tire size just to get back to stock height... And then you need to lower it more to get a decent right height with increasing lowerering your suspension travel when you otherwise would not with stock tires. Do you think this is a real issue... Maybe im over-analyzing.
