Message Even on an airfield runway, if it isn't smooth, it feels really damn dangerous to even get close, personal experience. Weird goal, which is fine, weird goals can be fun too, just seemed weird to me unless you have access to a private airfield somewhere.

Wheels....gonna be high dollar for lightweight 18" wheels. Maybe peruse ebay to see what is out there available at the moment and go from there. I've always wanted BBS myself, but I don't believe they do 5-spoke designs.

Brakes....Forgetting the weird 200mph thing, you'd be a fool to spend anywhere close to $4k on brakes for a car that sees only public roads. BUT since you do wish to track, even if only a little bit, you can get away with the AZZC Wilwood kit for $1500 with pads which will easily handle as many track days as you can show up for, or spend less on some of the other newer alternatives. I can only testify to the Wilwood hardware being top notch gear, stomped on it on a couple of tracks in the US and on much faster tracks here in Europe with zero issues. Although I recommend using more "sturdy" pads as your street pads if you plan to go on the track. I found it to be a bitch to re-bed-in the street pads on the same rotors I had used high temp track pads. So I bought a second set of rotors (front Wilwoods and rear OEM) to use on track pads only. Altogether I spent approximately $2k for 2 complete sets of rotors and two complete sets of pads. An expense that can be saved if you make do with street pads.

Suspension...if you have no desire to track, then why buy coilovers? They are pretty rough if the roads aren't smooth. Especially with 18" wheels and solid bushings anywhere in the suspension system. maybe re-think this in favor of a set of springs/shocks that dont reduce the suspension travel so much.

"What a curiosity our new political correctness has made of our public spaces. Let your sex tape loose on the Internet and
be rewarded with your own TV show; photograph a crucifix in a jar of urine and our museums will vie to exhibit it; occupy someone else’s
property and you will be hailed by the president for your keen social conscience. But call people who blow up, behead, and mutilate, “savage” —
and polite society will find you offensive."
