| The GTR is an awd, very advanced car with enough electronic wizardry to keep the car pointed in the right direction and maintain stability and control to such a level that you can pilot its TWO TONS around the nurburgring in record time with enough practice. The Z32 is rwd and has.....nothing to maintain stability and control, and despite an almost 700 lb weight advantage it will never get around the nurburgring as fast as a GTR HUGE DIFFERENCE. You may be able to get way with having inappropriate tires on a GTR on public roads doing reasonable driving. In a big-power-Z32TT you are asking for a disaster. You might want to use a proper street tire if your purposes are for the streets, which last I checked have curves, even in Texas. I have driven with MT ET "streets" on the street on the way to the drag strip with about 28 psi in them on the rears. They are very vague feeling, laterally-speaking, and that legendary grip they are known for is non-existent if they aren't heated up. Anyone suggesting that they can be driven on public roads in the same manner as a set of Sport Cups or any other performance tire, r-compound or otherwise, is being completely dishonest.
"What a curiosity our new political correctness has made of our public spaces. Let your sex tape loose on the Internet and be rewarded with your own TV show; photograph a crucifix in a jar of urine and our museums will vie to exhibit it; occupy someone else’s property and you will be hailed by the president for your keen social conscience. But call people who blow up, behead, and mutilate, “savage” — and polite society will find you offensive." --Jared Silverman "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." --Winston Churchill "When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." --Benjamin Franklin "The last official act of any government is to loot the treasury." --George Washington END THE FED ....learn why, in 42 minutes Full Pardon for PFC Bradley Manning |
