Message	responses. I agree the duration is too short, often I find I need to reply to someone and can not do so. It's very annoying to have to email someone and that information is no longer available for the rest of the sites users. This and it's not like replying to a old post will jump it up to the top of the list, which is exactly why expiration periods were created... this forum doesn't work that way so what's the point of locking topics anyways? No one knows the difference other than those interested in said topic. Anyone arguing against this, needs something better to do with their time.
