Message That being said, no street tire will ever give the same traction that a R compound tire will. Comparing my mods to your mods(my profile is not up to date) I can guess what your power should be, and depending on what you're using the car for I'd say go with the regular NT05, unless you're going to do drag racing. I had a set on my car for ~10k miles and 8 track days before I gave them to a friend(he bought the wheels they were mounted to), he has used them for 2 track days since and he can probably get another day or two from them. They don't have the most grip out of all the street tires on the market, but they worked good in the rain and they are very predictable when they are pushed to the limits. Also when they do spin and slide they're very loud so it's very hard to be caught off guard with these in my opinion. I had 275/40-17 on my car and they held great in 3rd and up(pump gas ~500whp), and would hold most of second gear. On race gas they were pretty much useless until 4th and 5th. If you can get a wider tire that will help a little in getting traction, but if you really want the most traction you'll just have to deal with a very low treadwear rating.
