So me running street pads(which I am) would make more sense for me to run with the aluminum caliper. Im not sure how such a small difference in the size of an aluminum caliper can make such a huge difference. I do not understand that. It makes sense to me that once the caliper started to heat up not being as dense would allow the heat to spread more rapidly and compound how fast the temperature rises making a few mm difference in size, null. Also how does a 2mm thicker rotor even make a bit of difference? Do the people on this forum realize exactly how big 2 mm is?! Does it curb brake fade by 15 seconds?
