Message All of this information is readily available, just search for "best budget brake setup" and you'll find a ton of options, much like the link Adam sent you to begin with. Search for 350z brembos and you'll find a ton of info.

The 350z brembo calipers do not weigh very much at all compared to other available options. Closest runner up for weight is the Evo Brembo that Adam uses. Similar to that is the STI Brembo caliper, both of which require (relatively inexpensive) relocation brackets.

You really seem to want to reinvent the wheel by sticking with your stock calipers, and imo that's not really a value-worthy investment. Just keep in mind, they were designed in the 80s.
