Well maybe not "Z" passion, But in all seriousness there must be some of you and myself included that have learned way more than they ever fathomed they would, by taking on a passion of cars. I've learned so much about different processes of manufacturing, metal working, welding, paint processes, chemicals, and the industry as a whole. This has led me to even develop some components of my own for my personal car that I feel are noteworthy. This allowed me to develop something from personal experiences and then R&D it, even though on an amateur level. I'm looking for some entry level position of product development or product management, and I feel like the knowledge gained working on the car is absolutely invaluable; I'd like to include this experience as an additional example of my capabilities, self-directed interest, and knowledge. If anyone has done this, I would love to get some suggestions. Or some brief examples of how they wrote it. It's hard to not just look like some guy banging on bolts when you read it over. For the record all of my work has been done at a shop in a professional setting, around people in the industry, so I do have some credibility. Thanks in advance for any advice.
