Subject	does anyone know the depth of the center console

Message	with the lid shut. ...like if i had a slightly flush mounted plastic peice that covered the center console area...what is the depth to say the tranny tunnel (if i cut out the bottom of it..or parts of the bottom of it?) i plan on mounting some of my electronics there, and i want to make sure its deep enough before i jump in with the dremel. advise (answers) AND pictures would be MUCH appreciated. fyi...pd.org uploading more than on file at a time, and other stuff is coming along. lots of new things to learn in .net 4.5 framework (specifically asp.net) ... and setting up the web cluster (which is done via VM's on shared storage in raid10 setups.) ...ill put up a blog for updates. if any of you have requests for features...EMAIL ME (erikboehringer at gmail dot com) ...if you dont...i will go my own direction.
