Message So of course there are deductions for things you can't believe and dont agree with and so on and so on. Usual stuff that everyone goes through if you have been in the zcon car shows. My personal feeling is unless you trailer the car wrapped in a bubble and never drive it as well, you have no chance of getting a Gold Cup. After talking with Chris Karl (president of the ZCCA and a Gold Cup Z32 winner himself)and having him look over my car to point out his thoughts, my view on the matter was even more concrete.

So according to my sheets I only got a total of only 6 deductions. That gave me a score of 294 out of 300. According to the ZCCA judging rules you need a score of 290 or higher to get a Gold Cup.

"All vehicles scoring a total overall score of two hundred and ninety (290) points or above in their respective class (except Daily Driver) are eligible to receive the Gold Medallion or Gold Cup achievement award of excellence for their efforts."

I did not get a Gold Cup as those of you who were there know. Does anyone know what the "eligible" part above means? I'm assuming this is why I did not get the award. What is involved in this part of the judging? Personal opinion? Or am I missing something else.
