The coilovers on stock bushings will start to cause problems where the old bushings will give instead of the shock/spring package. You mention solid bushings, these are generally reserved for track dedicated cars. The poly bushings from Energy suspension stiffen things up without being too noisey. But it is also your car, so if you think you need solids, do it. Like LJ said, think about the end goal, and build towards that.
