systems. The dynamic involved is to speed up the flow of the cooling gases so they more effectively penetrate the perforated tubing and packing. It worked on my Borla systems, but cannot vouch for others. Also I changed test pipes, adding a hi-flow cat which made a significant difference in lowering volume and making the tone deeper. Wrapping the DP and TP (OEM pipes are wrapped) helped to deaden the sound harshness and improve overall sound quality. I also think, but cannot prove, that a flex section added to the TP will isolate the post turbo section of the exhaust tubing, keeping the vibration levels, and noise, lower. Finally, adding sound mitigation materials to inside of cabin to include limited areas of dynamat, and extensive use of barrier materials like carpet padding, and sound barrier materials. PS Dynamat is for vibration control of panels, not sound barrier insulation.
