Message Depending the county you are moving into, you will need emissions upfront to register the vehicle. Since your car is OBDII leave/keep your CAI items in place to pass emissions. If you dirve less than the 3000 miles a year, it depends on the service station that will be inspecting your car if you can get an emission exempt sticker.

To my knowledge, Philadelphia and the surrounding 5 counties will require emissions and vehicle inspection for registration every year. Outside and throughout the remaining portions of the state you may not be required to have emissions (depends on the county).

I've heard stories of the CC & pre-cats being deleted (but still running cats) on pre-96 Z...with the cars passing emissions.

Good luck. Which county are you moving to??
