| A lot of people put them near the battery (assuming you don't have a monster of a battery). My intake vent tubes are venting to atmosphere, and my exhaust is connected to a hose intended for a catch can that I never installed. Again, it is venting. I've had no problems after about 600-700 miles of driving. I think Ash puts filters on the intake vent tubes. I also talked with SZ and if I recall correctly, they didn't think it was vital to install a catch-can either. However, I don't know that applies if you are doing hard-core racing.
