Message so this is the conclusion of my winter project, last night at 2 am I fired it up for the first time, everything went perfect, it started on the first crank no leaks no weird noises.... the only mistake I made was I forgot to switch the selin translator to average. No biggie.

Driving it today almost brought a tear to my eye, it felt alot more responsive and torquey (the butt dyno feels like ~3 psi higher than before).... I turned the boost down to match the previous level to be safe- I have yet to turn the boost up from 14.5
The sound of the new exhaust is truly out of this world... and it's still not TOO loud. Also NO MORE GRINDING INTO 4th WOOHOO!!

This morning I tried starting it and I got a click click then the breaker popped.....reset the breaker and tried again-same thing. Turns out the down pipe was touching the heatshield for the starter and the main wire after the solenoid shorted to ground because it melted.... I knew exactly what happened before I even took things apart just because I saw the dowpipe touching the heatshield lol.

I am satisfied with the results, I will take better pics in the daytime with a real camera (this is from my cell) and share them at a more suitable time.

my project included:
rebuilt tranny
magnaflow 2.5 X-pipe catback with only one set of resonators
t-bolt clamps all over
Mishimoto radiator
Ashspec chip 93 octane
Nismo 740's
5spd cams
5spd turbine housings
Z1 silicone hoses all throughout
*new exhaust manifold gaskets (the main reason for the whole thing because I blew one)

here are some pics of my ported stock manifolds, my goal was to make the narrowest part at least the size of one head port and also smooth out any sharp bumps.

*disclaimer*: all that I say may be true or I may be completely wrong and I accept that.... please, it is your duty as another person on the internet to in-politely tell me how wrong I am :)
