Message Data is gathered at the rear wheels, that is as accurate as it gets for each dyno. There are ways to estimate the drivetrain losses, but this estimation degrades the accuracy of the measurement that the dyno made.
If you are comparing your dyno run to a new car that the factory says makes X hp, a flywheel number will be useful. If you are talking tuner with the car guys, whp is pretty standard.
