In a couple of months I'll have all my credit cards completely paid off and be at 0 debt (besides the mortgage) The main reason I did a motor pull was to change a blown manifold gasket, porting stock manis was free for me. This time around I expect to gain ~70 hp and I enjoy gaining the horsepower gradually not all at once, otherwise I'll get bored and want more shortly after anyway. Next year for my Christmas project I have plans to do intake piping, larger intercoolers and throttle bodies and possibly exhaust cutouts. I am torn on whether or not to pick a turbo upgrade, I would really hate to pour so much more money into this Z when I have a slicktop waiting for a TTv8 conversion As for the painting..... I got really bored waiting for parts to ship. Thats also the reason I ended up porting the manifolds. It took over a month to get the ecu and I already gave up waiting for the new clutch disk (I'll just change it next year as this one still has some meat left), it's almost been 2 months so as soon as I get the timing pulleys, it will be ready to start..... should be ready to fire up this Friday -will update one more time.
*disclaimer*: all that I say may be true or I may be completely wrong and I accept that.... please, it is your duty as another person on the internet to in-politely tell me how wrong I am :) "The dreaded 2nd windshiled wiper swipe when you turn it off its almost like tis showing you that it's boss, and it doesn't have to stop when you tell it to :("-College Boy (discussion on ptu relocation) "No good reason to put it there anyway. -Bernie (NoVA) False -vorpalZ False. -Bernie (NoVA) You're correct, there are 3 good reasons -vorpalZ False. -Bernie (NoVA) Wow, right again, just remembered another, make that 4 -vorpalZ" XD
