Message The post below got removed and I typed up this hoge mess, it deserves to be read.

What happened to you is a common hit and stop - then run. Anytime your vehicle is hit, stop it as quickly and safely as you can and get out of the vehicle. You never know if you may be leaking fuel somewhere and you dont want to be in the car if something goes awry.

There is no law against you leaving a car involved in an accident where it sit. You dont have to move it at all and fuck all the other fuckers on the road and make em drive around. Accidents have always slowed down traffic, no reason yours shouldnt either. If it is a heavy traffic area, move to the shoulder or a safe location with the parties involved and wait until the authorities arrive.

What you should do at this point is contact the local authorities and inform them of what happened. Don't listen to those fucking cops when they tell you you are screwed. They can pull up records of all Isuzu Amigos in that area of whatever color it was. From there, they can "visit" these residences and see if their vehicle has front end damage and if so, I am sure your paint is all over it. They can identify the paint as yours or not.

You need to pursue this man, you pay taxes that pays for the authorities to get paychecks, have fancy computerized automobile registration systems, and everything else associated with autos. They have the ability to find this person and your chances of catching them are in your favor. Your insurance premiums will most likely go up because you cannot prove that you were rear ended and something else say, you backed into someone else's car. IT doesn't look good on your policy. Contact the authorities and let them know you are serious about locating this vehicle and its driver.
