Message the Z trannies need a GL4 gear oil with a low corrosivity gear rating to keep the soft metals (synchros) from corrosion of the high pressure chemicals put in gear oils. I have tried many like Amsoil, Mobil 1, Redline MT90, Royal Purple max gear, Valvoline. All synthetic 75w 90, best for me was the Royal Purple been using for past 12 years provided the smoothest shifting and very quiet gear box. Redline MT90 was second best for me. Mobil 1 and Valvoline were the worst for me. Don't know about the shock proof. Note Royal Purple has a GL4, GL5 rating but with low corrosivity so approved for manual synchro trannies requiring a GL4, got this straight from their chemist and test dept.

Also note that each tranny is different and they have their gremlins and some gear oils work better than others. Just make sure the corrosivity is low and my 12 years with it proves the point.
