The Fuel System is in a loop, but the Correction for Lean, Rich is done in a Left bank, Right bank Affair with the O2's Sniffing the Exhaust of each bank.. My thoughts were trying to keep the fueling correction for each bank as close to the same for each cylinder of that bank.. An Efficiency thing.. You could Conceivably run with Different Sized Injectors ( Left to right ) and theoretically still have proper mixture of of each cylinder in each bank.. if the Fuel Trims could correct that far and provided you stay in Closed Loop.. I'm not sure how the Fuel trims work in relation to Open Loop and Bank Logic.. Never have delved that far into a 300 Yet. Again this is all just theory.. I like your Idea of helping out the Abused Cylinders of the Rear.. Had not considered that aspect of it.. That comes with experience.. thanks for Sharing..
