| I got a set of Memphis 6.5" components and while somewhat happy with the sound (Their tweeters are a bit harsh), I hated the front speakers. They sounded good but I hated all the extra road noise and the fact that if you slammed my door with the window down, it would rattle. I went back to stock enclosures and I couldn't believe how good the stock bose speakers sound with some decent power. Way more base than my 6.5" and my car was quiet again. Rears, I just fiberglassed over top of the bose enclosures to make the tops flat. You can't fit any good speakers those brackets/adapters. You lose the porting and about 2/3rds of the volume. Plus you need a super shallow speaker. My rears sound ok, they are memphis 5.5" coax speakers. I really needed the extra treble but its only for rear fill. Ken 91TT P.s. When I had my front speakers in, I kept trying to roll up my passenger side window more. It totally sucked and the bose speakers, while not the best, are more than enough with some door mounted tweeters (Don't get memphis tweets tho).
