Message	in the rear of the car and less open space in the tank for damper air that replaces the fuel as it's used up to condensate into water as it cools. I would guess once the winter air gets really dry - not sure this matters much? However in the transition period between fall and winter - can see it helping a bit. Of course, this assumes the tank is kept well topped up. Mainly a better idea for a car placed into storage...
