expensive and way less versatile compared to a decent two stage recip compressor. I shopped for a used turbine setup for a while before I bought my reciprocating pump, and found that they are extremely rare on the second hand market, way over priced, and only used by hardcore pro's (meaning that they are pretty much used up within a few years).
The biggest thing though is that there is literally nothing else you can use it for when you are done painting.
