| and DO NOT get an oil less air compressor. i had 2 craftsman oil-less and they both were a waste of money. the rings and cylinder burn out quick. now i also use it alot as i have a sandblasting cabneit with a pressure blaster that requires alot of cfm. about 10 years ago i picked up an 80 gallon, 7 hp, 2stage porter cable air compressor, and this thing rocks. it will actually keep up with the sandblaster and periodically shut off while sandblasting. the motor is beefy, 3 start capacitors with a 100% duty cycle. (the compressor itself is rated at a 50% duty cycle though) 175 psi max...25.0scfm at 100 psi and 23.5scfm @ 175. i change the oil every 30 hours. and change the belts and air filter every year. its alittle expensive but keep it maintained and it'll be the last air compressor you ever buy. Porter-Cable CPLMC7580V2C 175 PSI, Two-Stage 80 Gal. Oil Lube Stationary [ http://www.acetoolonline.com/product-p/por-cplmc7580v2c.htm ] i bought mine at a farm @ fleet in SE wisconsin for 1800 but if you shop around im sure you can find it somewhere else.
