I was running a modified stock shifter, and it would hit the balance weights on my Z1 platinum driveshaft. For whatever reason, Z1 chose to put the weights exactly in the wrong spot relative to the shifter. I swapped shifters and all was fine after that. Modified stock shifters move the fulcrum up on the shifter shaft, which places the bottom of the shifter closer to the driveshaft. The Z1 premium shifter has a billet fulcrum which replaces the stock fulcrum. This allows a shorter shift, but also raises the shifter so that the same distance to the driveshaft is maintained
