Message	since the economy took a dump. While op might be able to build as cheaply as he could buy, (op will spend 10k), he will face hours, months, maybe years, of frustrating work, and have a less valuable car. It seems that those who choose that route just like to work on cars. Zvil said it best, above. I gotta admit, at $1200, that could be a deal.
