detracts from the cars value if you do a crappy job, or if you change it to a bad color. Silver was available on the Z32, and it looks great. It just wasn't available on the convertibles. So if I am selling my silver, twin turbo convertible, when neither the twin turbo, nor silver were available on a convertible, personally, I think that would be a big positive. It's not like I am wrecking the value of a collector cars value if I change the color. I can't think of any Japanese cars that have ever had much value with collectors. And if these ever do, it's not going to be for another 20 years or more. By then, it will need paint again, and I can change it back when it's getting restored :-) But, I made an update (see post 19:23:18 11/02/12). I think the factory red color, adding metallic, or red with pearl are the main options I am considering now. I am doing some test shots to see how they look. If I don't like any of them, it stays the factory color.
