I'm about to put her in storage 'till May. Once the first snow/ice hits, the roads are fucked. The salt that is put down will ruin any car. On the positive note, it gives you time to do long-term work/projects on her while she hibernates for the winter. You can really take your time and do a better job when there's no rush to complete task and get it back on the road ASAP. Also it keeps the mileage low. And I like to think that those of us who have to put our cars away for half of the year appreciate it more when it is time to bring her back out.
