Message Does the Carbing have the reenforced walls inside the bar? For some reason, I'm thinking it is lacking those but feel free to correct me as I've never cut one in half. As for the brackets, they are very similar but you can clearly see the dimensions are different. The reason the holes are there is because Charles retained the ability to run hoses through it. The functional holes, runner flow, and single piece design were all great ideas by Carbing. From there, Charles built upon that idea by adding structural integrity, changed the shape from oval to rectangle, etc. Like I said, there are similarities but there are also definitely differences if you look at it.

Never Play Leapfrog With A Unicorn!!!

WILL JSCHRAUWEN EVER ANSWER MY QUESTION?

John, stop it! You are not allowed in AMS threads and you know it. -- marty1mc

Do yourself a favor and just worry about your own car. I don't see what everyone is so worried about anyway. If someone else wants to perform a modification that you believe will destroy the value, cheapen the Z32 or whatever you can't sit on your hands about, wouldn't that make your tastefully-modified, white bread Z32 more rare and valuable? -- BradZ (FL) on December 23, 2007 at 12:19 PM
