so i wanted to get a leak down test done.more specifically, a series of test done by matt at driven authority.but i opted to be a lazy ass and drive the half hour to Fresno instead of two hours to Sacramento.big mistake...the place i went to was called Fresno Performance and i swear i knew more about my car than they did FOR SURE(and i dont claim to know too much).after they preformed the compression and leak down test it was more apparent that they didnt know squat about z's..and on top of that, i strongly doubt the guy who was doing the tests on my car has had automotive experience pass a high school small engines class...anyways, i left feeling much better about driving the two hours to Sac.what i didnt feel good about was yesterday...i wanted to change my plugs because i had a suspicion that the previous owner didnt use the right spark plugs(i was right,and i swear i can feel a little difference).but upon doing so i found that the dude had replaced three of the coil pack bolts with standards,aaannnnnndddd stripped out two of the bolt holes on my driver side plenum for the balance tube!!i feel like im just fucked because ive waited too long to call them(its been like almost two weeks since ive been there) and theyll probably just not give a fuck anyways....so ya..if youre around the Fresno area and want some work done, avoid Fresno Performance. unless you have a ford or a chevy i guess.. thats all they work on.
what do you guys think?should i even bother calling them? or should i just chalk it up and call it another reason to get a new plenum/bigger tb's/water bypass/etc.
