I found some awesome hose for replacing a leaking turbo oil return hose, so I thought I would share it with the group. No auto parts stores around here seem to have hose that is made for oil. All anybody has is heater hose, which doesn't like oil. And I didn't want to wait several days to order a $23 hose from Nissan. So I went to the parts counter at the local Freightliner truck dealer. They had this 3/4" inside diameter, 1.2" outside diameter power steering hose for $8.55 a foot, + $3.78 for a pair for heavy duty clamps. It fits tightly. I would guess any truck center will stock somethiing similar. I doubt this stuff will ever need to be replaced. It's super thick, & it's reinforced many times. Plus it has a super-tough textured outer jacket. It even has steel bands running through it for extra strength. It's probably a little overkill for this, but it was available right now, so I didn't have to wait, & it worked perfect. Don't expect to cut this to size though, unless you have some kind of a cutoff saw. You can see the brand & model printed right on the hose in the 1st picture, if anyone needs it for reference. And it won't sweat like the silicone hoses that everybodys "favorite" Z parts supplier sells.
