Message	r day. It was on a mustang forum because I was looking up opinions related to r-compound tires and such. The concensus there seemed to be lightweight tires tend to be lightweight because they lack significant sidewall structure/support. Thus, they get outperformed by heavier tires with stiffer sidewalls on the track, despite the decreased unsprung weight.
