When it came time for me to look for new tires to fit my stock wheels (trying to keep the stock look) I knew I was going to have a problem. As we know the stock size tires are no longer available, unless you want track tires or can find old stock. I was looking to replace my old dried out tires so I needed to find tires that were NEW. I had been told that the size difference between 45 series and 50 series was not much, about an inch in diameter. And there are many brands or tires available in the 50 series. Here are some pictures of the difference. Its about 1 3/8 inch in diameter, granted that is compared with a worn out 45 series tire.Here is a picture of how the car looks with the 50 series tire on the rear.Looks wise it does not look bad as the rear wheel well on the Z32 is large anyway. So this may help some people to decide what size tire to buy for the stock wheels.
