| spray detailer. You can feel the bar slide when you get the right mix. Using detailer w/ water consumes less than a quarter the amount I'd use if the paint surface were dry. The key to waxing black paint is to use a good glaze (swirl remover). When the surface is really clean and smooth, I use less wax. But there will always be some residue; so a soft tooth brush is used around cracks and crevices before the wax sets up.
