Subject	What is the point of the 300 degree fuel rail?

Message	Thinking of getting some Nismo injectors and I started to wonder...I have a late style motor (98+), so the injectors should be drop in (right?) but does the 300 degree fuel rail actually have another purpose such as the stock fuel rail has restrictions and does not flow as efficiently? Better flow to cylinder 5 and 6? Etc. Or is it just to fit the injectors (useless to me).
